1: “You’re a Mean One, Mr Grinch”: Name a villainous character you couldn’t help but love.
This is a really hard one for me since I very rarely like the villians… I honestly can’t think of any that I love. Maybe Moriarty?
2: “All I Want For Christmas Is You”: Which book do you most hope to see under the Christmas Tree?
Either the hardcover box set for the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series or a book that means something to the person giving it. It’s hard to buy me books since I usually just buy what I want myself.
3: “Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer”: Name a character that overcomes major obstacles and learns to believe in themselves.
Feyre from A Court of Thorns and Roses and A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas.
4: “Santa Claus Is Coming To Town”: Which character do you think would be at the top of the naughty list? Which character would be at the top of the nice list?
Top of the naughty list would probably be Charlotte Holmes from A Study in Charlotte by Brittany Cavallaro, top of the nice list I want to say Nico di Angelo or Will Solace. They’re both just little cinnamon buns.
5: “Frosty The Snowman”: Which book just melts your heart.
For this I’d have to say My Lady Jane by Cynthia Hand, Jodi Meadows and Brodi Ashton. I don’t really know why, just when I think of a book that made my heart melt I think of that one.
6: “Feliz Navidad”: Choose a book that takes place in a country other than your own.
Since a majority of books take place in a country other than Australia I’m going to choose a book that takes place either in a different world (fantasy) or off planet (sci-fi). Illuminae by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff.
7: “It’s The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year”: Which holiday themed book do you use to spread Christmas joy?
I truly haven’t read many; I’m trying to read a HEAP this year but for now I’d have to say How the Grinch Stole Christmas is the only holiday themed book I’ve read and loved that I’d use to spread Christmas joy. If I had read The Nutcracker by E.T.A Hoffmann I’d probably say that one?
8: “Sleigh Ride”: Which fictional character would you choose to spend the holidays with (doesn’t have to be a love interest!).
I’m going to choose a family since I’d want to sit down and have a meal with them. The Bond family, specifically Nonna, from the Holly Woods Files series by Emma Hart.
9: “Baby It’s Cold Outside”: Which book that you didn’t like would you sacrifice to a fire to warm yourself up in the cold?
I don’t really read books that don’t interest me or aren’t good. I get bored. So I’ll pick a book off my shelf I’d sacrifice (I haven’t read a lot of the books on my shelves yet). Probably The Crown’s Game by Evelyn Skye. I have no interest in picking this one up and its thick so it’ll burn for a good while.
10: “Do You Hear What I Hear”: Which book do you think everyone should read?
For a YA audience My Lady Jane by Cynthia Hand, Brodi Ashton and Jodi Meadows. For a NA or Adult audience the Holly Woods Files series by Emma Hart (must be read in order).
