Book Tag

Book Tag: Ben 10

I have a weird obsession with teen boy TV shows.  So I decided to make a book tag inspired by a few of them because I’m a nerd and wanted to combine two of my interests.   Feel free to do this tag yourself (I don’t really know any book bloggers to tag myself), I’d love to read your responses and if you do this tag on your own blog please remember to give me credit.  Hope you enjoy!

Cannonball: A Book that Crashed (bombed) in Your Opinion.

Please no one hate me, but I’m going to have to say A Court of Wings and Ruin by Sarah J. Maas.  It didn’t bomb in the sense that it was terrible, or sold poorly, it just didn’t match up compared to it’s predecessor.  A Court of Mist and Fury set a standard so high I’m not surprised that I didn’t love ACOWAR anywhere near as much as I loved ACOMAF.  That being said I technically haven’t finished ACOWAR yet, I just can’t get through the last few chapters.

Diamondhead: A Book With A Gemstone in the Title.

Ruby Red by Kerstin Gier. Really this whole trilogy since it is called the Precious Stone TrilogySapphire Blue and Emerald Green.

Four Arms: A Book with Four Main Characters.

So this is a little difficult – but I think I’m going to go with the Holly Woods Files series by Emma Hart here featuring Noelle, Drake, Bek and Brody.

Ghostfreak: A Book Featuring Ghosts.

I’m going with what first came to mind despite it being one of my lesser rated books.  First Grave on the Right by Darynda Jones.

Grey Matter: A Book with an Intelligent Protagonist.

The Specialists series by Shannon Greenland.

Heatblast: A Book Couple with Fiery Chemistry.

How could I say anyone other than Feyre and Rhysand from A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas.  Their relationship is the definition of fiery chemistry.

Ripjaws: A Book Set Near the Water.

To Catch a Pirate by Jade Parker.  Pirates on pirate ships on the ocean.

Upgrade: A Book Cover You Think Needs an Upgrade.

The Study series by Maria V. Snyder.  It isn’t so much that there’s something wrong with the current covers; just that some of the books have different covers to the others.

Wildmutt: A Book Featuring Shapeshifters.

My Lady Jane by the Lady Janies.  Hands down the funniest and best book featuring shapeshifters I think I’ve ever read.

XLR8: A Quick Read.

Flukes by Nichole Chase (REVIEW HERE).  It’s just such a quick summery read.  It’s 258 pages long which I suppose isn’t short, but it’s always been a quick read for me.

I challange YOU to do this book tag!
