Romance Reveal Book Box : March Box
Wow, it’s been a LONG time since I’ve done a book subscription box unboxing/review. Like, June 2017 long time. But here we are and I have a good one for you! I’ve actually done an unboxing for this company before but that was back in 2016 and the company has improved (I know this because of Instagram) so much since then. Which leads me to saying that I am so excited to share this unboxing/review with you all!
For those of you who don’t know, or couldn’t tell by the companies name, Romance Reveal is an ADULT ROMANCE book subscription box. It is not YA, or fantasy, so if that’s what you’re looking for you might want to check out some of my other unboxings and reviews.
Now lets get into this unboxing!
As always we start with the box itself and packaging. I love this box, my previous box was white and I think it was really dirty from transit. But this gorgeous hot pink it bright and vibrant and other than a few scuffs on the front it’s in great condition! I’ll definitely be displaying this box, it’s just so pretty!
The packaging inside is very much like it was previously; I love that. I think the ‘Peel and Reveal’ sticker is a great way to begin the box. And you can see the pink packing worms, I know a lot of people hate this stuff but I don’t really mind. I actually kind of like it?
The first thing we see in the box is this Carly Phillips small cold pack. I won’t get much use out of this since we’re heading into winter here in Australia but I look forward to using it when summer comes back around! Also, as a person who fidgets a lot, this is a great fidget since it’s squishy. So that’s an unexpected bonus!
Next up we have these adorable ‘Conversation’ Bunnies & Eggs. Like conversation hearts (which I love!) but themed for Easter. I’ve popped these in my handbag for later. I think this is so cute and I like candy a lot so I’m happy.
Then we have this pineapple sage tea light by Etta Clare Co. I actually like this candles scent and it isn’t giving me headache so I’m very happy to have this. I might light it next time I have a bath with my Kindle, a glass of wine and a Lush bath bomb?
Now for the fun stuff! The author promo swag – which is honestly part of the reason I like this box so much (well that and the signed romance books). We get this little package filled with promotional stuff for authors that you may not have heard of.
First thing in the little swag pack is this lip balm (I think I have too many bookish lip balms now..) for H.M Sholander. It smelt like a normal lip balm, nice. I haven’t used it yet so I don’t know how smooth it applies, and I might put it in a gift/giveaway box since I have so many lip balms in my own collection. But I love the hot pink.
Next up we have something really smart. A little match pack to go with the candle. I’ve received a lot of candles in subscription boxes but I’ve never been sent matches to light them and I think it’s such a smart idea.
The second (and last) bookmark we have is for Jodi Ellen Malpus.
Second to last (for the swag pack, not the box) we have this Wanted by Kelly Elliott magnet with the new cover. I read this book years ago and loved it so I’m very happy to have this magnet. Though I don’t have my own fridge so it’s sitting in storage until I have somewhere for it to live.
This is the last ‘swag’ item in this box before we get to the books; it’s something they’ve been including in every box for quite some time now. A colouring card for a feature author. Each month is different and I think this is a really fun idea! It forces you to actually look at Carly Phillips name for a while and it should pique your interest into what she’s written.
Now onto the books!
Let’s Get Textual by Teagan Hunter
A wrong number is supposed to be just that—a wrong number.
Do not continue to text. Do not flirt.
A wrong number shouldn’t be the first person on your mind in the morning, or the last at night…and you’re definitely not supposed to talk them into buying a baby goat.
Because that would be weird.
When Zach Hastings and I get into a wrong-number mix-up, we don’t follow the rules. We keep texting and flirting, because he’s wicked funny and perfectly nerdy and a wonderful distraction.
I’m not looking for love, and Zach definitely had the wrong number.
Maybe he’s the right guy.
I’ve heard about this book before and it caught my interest but I didn’t one-click it at the time so I’m very happy to have my own copy now and I look forward to reading it!
Misadventures of a Virgin by Meredith Wild
It’s been years since June Bell shared a stolen moment with her girlhood crush, Kase McCasker. It’s been just as long since Kase’s father nixed the sale of the McCasker farm to expand the grounds of the Bell’s grand hotel. Now that Kase is back home for good, June might be the only person who can persuade him to reconsider the abandoned plan. But how can she face him again after he left her without a word?
Four years ago, unexpected news shook the foundation of Kase McCasker’s world. Escaping Falls Edge for college was the perfect excuse to chase his demons and bury his pain. Now, with a degree in hand and a void he can’t fill, he’s back in the little mountain town he thought he’d never call home again. Searching for purpose, he’s determined to put down roots and take over the struggling farm that’s been in his family for generations.
Time and distance haven’t taken the edge off his preoccupation with June, the spitfire daughter of his father’s rival. He hasn’t forgotten their time together and all the things they did and didn’t do. One look at her has him reconsidering the future and making a dangerous deal to win her over. Is a chance at her heart worth risking everything else?
I’m on the fence about this one. I initially put it straight into my sell/giveaway pile, but I think I might give it a chance. I hate the cover though.

Study Me by Logan Chance
Work, Study, eat, and repeat. For the life of a pre-med student Marley Murphy has her work cut out for her.
To make matters worse, her professor Houston Dale is one of the hardest teachers around. His sole purpose is to make each student suffer.
When Marley is asked to be his assistant for the semester forbidden sparks will fly between them.
Houston Dale hates teaching Anatomy. With a secret past he won’t let anyone get too close.
But, when his assistant lives across an alleyway and he can see all the naughty things she does in her bedroom at night, Houston can’t contain himself.
Forced to choose between his past and present, will Houston be able to be strong enough to withstand the temptation of his student?
This is a forbidden Professor/Student affair. Get ready as Houston and Marley heat up the pages and your hearts.
I straight up hate student/teacher romances so I’ll 100% be passing this on, but if anyone is interested it is a novella.
I love this box, while I didn’t necessarily love all the books I’m still very glad I reactivated my subscription! I’ve been reading a lot more adult romance lately and I like that this is a fun way to find new authors and get books you may not have thought of before. As an international romance book lover it’s also really expensive to ship these type of books to my house and using a subscription service is both a cheaper and funner way of acquiring awesome books. I do wish I could afford the four book option but that may have to wait for a few months, in the meantime the two book option is still wonderful. I know I’m not alone in loving book swag, so if you like these sorts of things you should definitely check this box out! Also I love the box itself, it’s so pretty on my shelves!
