The Walt Disney World Resort will be hosting a new series of kidss books in the parks from November 4 through December 13.
In addition to childrens stories, “Green Book” books will offer a look at the life of one of the park’s signature characters: Mickey Mouse.
“We are excited to continue the family-friendly Disney Parks experience with this new family book series, which celebrates Mickey Mouse and the Disney family,” Walt Disney Parks Chief Executive Officer Tom Staggs said in a press release.
“We are thrilled to introduce these new titles to guests and are excited about their promise to inspire children with a love of Disney and Disney characters.”
Disney parks will also launch a series of childrens films in the coming weeks, including the popular Disney-produced animated short film, “Let It Go,” as well as a film from Disney Pixar Studios.
“Let it Go” is the third installment in the popular childrens film franchise.
The Walt Disney Resort will host the first childrens book-themed movie at Disneyland in 2019.
In 2017, Disney announced plans to introduce an all-new version of “Let the Music Play,” a children’s book series set in the Walt Disney Studios, where the musical musical “Frozen” was filmed.
The new movie will be based on a book that was originally written by the Pixar team and is being produced by Pixar Animation Studios.
