The Scholastics Book Fair is back with another fantastic reading experience for all ages.
Book lovers will be treated to a variety of exciting activities, including live music, poetry reading and a spectacular reading by the book of the great classics.
Here are some highlights: A reading by James Joyce in the New Zealand National Library.
There will be an exhibition featuring works by the great Irish poet.
There’ll be an award for a book about the Irish famine.
There’s also a chance to talk to the Irish authors behind some of the best books on the market today.
A reading of the famous American author Thomas Pynchon in the National Library’s History Room.
There is also an award to the first to write an article for a publication of the author’s work.
There are even some surprises for kids.
The Schoellachs are hosting an event featuring a book-signing, reading and reading by Scholastically for kids and young adults.
The event runs from Sunday 19 April to Saturday 31 May.

Booksellers will be selling their bestsellers at the Scholastics Book Fair on Saturday and Sunday.
