Cory Booker’s girlfriend, who he dated for two years, Danielle “Brown” Booker, was murdered in her apartment last year, according to the Daily Mail.
The alleged murder occurred on December 17, 2014.
Brown’s death has not been solved.
According to The Daily Mail, Brown was discovered dead by her boyfriend in the bedroom of their Brooklyn apartment on December 18, 2014, and her death has yet to be solved.
A photo of Brown’s body was released to the public on February 12, 2015, after her body was discovered.
Booker was first elected to the US Senate in January 2020.
His election was annulled after the revelation that he had received at least $5.8 million from the pharmaceutical giant Pfizer, which was later revealed to be in violation of the terms of his US Senate term.
Booker is currently on a two-year term.
According the Daily Beast, the two-time Harvard Law School graduate is known for his controversial opinions on drug prices, social justice and race.
Brown was reportedly a member of the Black Lives Matter movement, a radical feminist organization founded by Black women, who advocated for the prosecution of police officers.
The Daily Beast reported Brown was the only black woman to be awarded a Fulbright Scholarship in 2017.
According a biography published by Brown’s family in the Daily News, Brown graduated from Harvard Law with a degree in economics.
Brown graduated with honors in economics from Harvard University in 1993.
Booker, a Democrat, was appointed to the Senate in November 2021 by President Donald Trump.
He previously served as a member for four years in the US House of Representatives.
