About

About The Troubles and Woes of a Bookworm:

I started my book blog back in 2012, but it wasn’t until really until 2015 that I began to post more seriously as a book blogger.  I post wrap ups, book reviews, hauls, tags and other bookish related reviews.  I’ve fallen in love with the online book community and I expect to stay active and continue to grow in the future.

About Becca:

I’m Becca (or Rebecca) and I’m a 23 year old (okay look I keep forgetting to update this, my birthday is November 19th 1996, you do the math) bookworm from Australia.  I want to be an author one day but I’m not quite there yet.  I have ADHD and social anxiety, reading is somewhat of a coping mechanism for me when everything gets difficult.  I grew up surrounded by books and avid book readers but it really wasn’t until 2011 when I read The Hunger Games for school that I got into reading as something more than compulsory reading for school.  Similarly to quite a few other book bloggers, it was Obsidian by Jennifer L. Armentrout that inspired me to start a book blog.

I read mostly YA and NA but also some Adult novels.  I enjoy fantasy, paranormal, mythology, RH, and most of all romance.  If a book doesn’t have romance in it I usually get bored (unless it’s Middle Grade or a slow burn romance).  I’m a bit of a hopeless romantic so this makes total sense.  I read some Christian novels too, but I really go through book fazes.  I’m definitely a mood reader.

I hope you enjoy your time on my blog, if you have any questions, queries or requests send me an email at thetroublesandwoesofabookworm@gmail.com.
